The Russian-born artist Yuri Kuper brings to jewelry an artistic approach similar to the art of painting. The painter diverts banal objects from everyday life in order to create pretty original jewelry! For example, a match, a pen, an apple, a brush, a lock can become a broock, a ring… Yuri Kuper has produced luxury jewelry that is relatively rare. In part because his pieces are usually produced in limited series, such as the Objets Trouvés line ("lost and found").
Our jewelry store has regularly in stock second-hand Yuri Kuper jewelry for sale, such as brooches and gold rings. Most of the time, it is yellow gold jewelry, but you can find pieces in other metals, such as silver. Some of Yuri Kuper jewelry has white or colored diamonds.
These creations will please you if you like figurative jewelry, but these represent more atypical objects than usual in the world of luxury jewelry! Discover other original pieces of jewelry and rare vintage rings or necklaces in our online shop, such as the Boule d’Amour rings from Garnazelle.
Yuri Kuper is a painter of Russian origin born in 1940. He left home in the 1970s to live in different countries, including England, and ended up settling in France. Yuri Kuper's works are essentially the representation of objects that are part of his daily life, starting with instruments from his painting studio such as brushes. In his creations, we also find tools, cutlery, chairs, locks, padlocks... The other originality of his work is that he regularly uses different materials, in addition to paint.
As an artist, Yuri Kuper is not just a painter. He is an eclectic creator. His curiosity led him to create ceramic objects, books and jewellery. Looking for vintage Yuri Kuper jewelry?
