Pomellato was established in Milan, in 1967, by Pino Rabolini; a member of an Italian family of goldsmiths. Rabolini’s aim was to transform the company’s manufacturing strategy of jewelers working individually to a technique that matched the world of prêt-à-porter.
He wanted to introduce exquisite style and fashion into the production system, making it affordable for all women, and not only those who were wealthy enough to pay for haute couture. Rabolini desired to revolutionize women’s fashion options while molding Pomellato into a strong, fashionable brand. Fifty years onwards, his magnificent, exclusive designs have acquired popularity both in Italy and across the world.
Today, more than 100 goldsmiths are employed at the company’s headquarters, in Milan. Rabolini was extremely successful with his ideals for jewelry creations that the French-based Kerring Group bought the company, in 2013. The company has enhanced production considerably and, currently, holds a very prominent place amongst European jewelry companies. The House is extremely proud of its capability in producing its total jewelry at Casa Pomellato. The brand is famed for its gold chains, charm bracelets, diverse sizes of pendants made in gold and silver; set with colored crystal or exquisite stones with glittering surfaces. The brand portrays intense feelings, such as the “Burma” and the “Jungle” collection. The “Tangerine” collection has ornaments that are both dignified and elegant, directly linked to a person’s mindset.
Pomellato jewelry is avant-garde created using an original approach; elegant colored stone combinations characterized by unique gem cuts and innovative designs. Created with perfection, Pomellato pieces have enabled the brand to yield modern but unconventional beauty; easily recognized as the brand’s signature style.
