The Roure brand has been involved in retailing watches and jewelry since 1961; it is situated at 13 rue de Bordeaux. The founder of the brand is René Roure; a fan of micromechanics and a graduate in watchmaking from the École de Cluses. René was born in 1933, he and his wife shifted to 13 rue de Bordeaux in 1961, into a watchmaking and jewelry store that had been established at the end of the 19th century. For over 25 years, the designing couple continued to create exquisite high-end jewelry under the motto: seriousness and professionalism.

In 1981, Roure decided to collaborate with Jean Louis Abadie, a famous artisan who helped to prepare Roure’s next generation in the art of jewelry making. Bruno Roure, the founder’s son, entered the business in 1984, following the completion of his studies in watchmaking in Besançon and gemology in Paris. Today, he controls the company in Bordeaux. Owing to a highly skilled team and its passion for excellence, the Roure brand has its presence amongst many famous brands including Chanel, Chaumet or Rolex.
