The presentation of the Le Voyage Recommencé collection took place on May 24, 2023 in Florence . That is, just one week ago. This new collection of 90 pieces of Cartier high jewelry was unveiled in the evening in an Italian garden. A long list of exclusive guests were there. This bold jewelry collection is inspired by the Cartier archives , iconic but reinvented pieces of the house. The Le voyage Recommencé jewelry was strongly influenced by architecture.
Geometry and contrasts are two major trends in this collection. It focuses sometimes on symmetry, sometimes on asymmetry. Rubies, turquoises, spinels, sapphires and garnets take center stage, while diamonds accompany them. A range of necklaces is inspired by Islamic arts and architecture, classic themes of the Cartier style. The intensity and power found in this art are harmoniously integrated into the “Le Voyage Recommencé” jewelry .
With its rolling green landscapes and baroque buildings , the garden of Palazzo Corsini provided the perfect backdrop for the presentations of these new Cartier 2023 jewels. Cartier CEO Cyrille Vigneron attended the event. Guests included Gong Li, Vanessa Kirby, Elle Fanning, Golshifteh Farahani, Kimberly Woltemas and Tara Emad.
